Their growth required a new head quarters which provides client services as well as support for their five area satellite locations. Challenge

Great Lakes Medical wanted to maximize efficiency by providing a central location that created a functional office environment while at the same time keeping in mind the needs of their clientele and the company’s role in the Healthcare industry. Due to the nature of their business it was vital to our client that the atmosphere was relaxing and soothing for clients. With the client’s main goals in mind, our design intent was focused on creating a warm and inviting space that offered all the necessary functionality for a medical facility.
Solution

Our collaboration with BHNT Architects was an essential part of producing the ideal space for our client. Coordinating the warm tones present in the carpet, paint and other interior finishes with the furniture selections produced a cohesive, elevated aesthetic. To maintain a consistency in clean lines and styling we turned to the Carolina Orchestra series which afforded us the ability to utilize standard guest, bariatric and treatment chairs throughout the different patient spaces. A mix of vinyl and fabric upholsteries in earth tones were married with subtle patterning and a warm mahogany wood finish to invite clients in. Administrative areas were furnished with Haworth Compose and OFS Meeting Room with Sleek seating, utilizing the same warm wood tones in laminate and veneer to compliment the patient spaces.
